I've just finished a 10 day juice fast. All is good. At first I thought I would fast for a month. I felt strong and ready to do so. Days dripped by and then I felt hunger, or more likely, I missed chewing food.
Oh yeah, so I chewed food yesterday and that reminded me that I need to call the dentist. Both of my top teeth, all the way in the back, are fucked and EXTREMELY sensitive. The same teeth you had pulled Shannon. I am going to try a root canal on one side and see how it goes, and then I will decide about the other side.
I think I will get back on the juice fast until I can chew, which considering the fact that I am truly scared of the idea of a root canal, may mean I no longer eat food.
AH, the gossip!
Thank You everyone for your advice and encouragement about my teeth, one day soon I will act on it and again chew with the best of them.
I have an interview today. Assistant manager for an apartment complex. It's part time and the hours are flexible so I am hoping I get the job. I signed up with a temp agency last week and let them know I am willing and capable of doing anything, so please call me if I can make some money. I need money. I don't like to NEED, no need for WANT......hmmmmm....it is imperative that I start having a steady cash flow.
The temp agency called this week and I worked a few days in a cheese factory. Jeez, I have not worked in a factory for about 9 years and I had to remove all of my jewelry. Some of the jewelry would not come off so I had to tape it on. Anyway, I do not think I could do factory work every day, not anymore. Although there is something comforting about the brainless, robot work I was doing, but I sure hate smelling like cheese, even if this is Wisconsin and that is a norm.
My hands and feet fall asleep all the time. I wonder why that is. Even as I type this, my right hand has succumb to the numby sleep monster, and my left foot is starting to tingle. Do you think I have some kind of something going on? I'm just as bone headed about doctors as I am about dentists so.....I don't anticipate seeing a doctor about it, that is what Xanga is for. LOL
Must get ready for interview now, and I am not going to remove any jewelry for this. I feel lost without my baubles, not to mention, my baubles have a greater likelihood of being lost if they are not on, or in my body.
Soon I will have a routine again, that's all I need. Ugh......NEED! All I require, oh yeah, and some cash. Send money quick.
BE WELL.

Nice update. Thanks. Sorry about the teeth. Good reason to fast though. I know what you mean about chewing. I missed chewing more than food when I fasted. Always made me want to fast faster.
Hope you got the job, if you still wanted it after the interview.
Hey, my potential job is kind of the same thing--assistant property manager/office manager for a commercial property management company.
I know how you feel on the teeth, boy do I ever! *hugs* I hope everything sorts out soon, but it always has a way of doing so for you.
Sorry about the lack of chewing. Hang in there! And good luck with your teeth adventures.
I definately hear you on the needing of a job thing, and I too have jewelry that doesn't come off. You have to love those.

I just saw a dentist and need about 5 root canals and some teeth taken out. Eeek. Really, it's not that bad. Go ahead and do it, you'll feel better and if you wait too long, you will wake at night with incredible tooth pain. Then you will welcome the root canal. I have done this several times.
About the tingly hands and feet, you could be having over use with the computer, the sitting and posture is important as it can put pressure on the nerves in the spine and cause this sensation. It can get very bad so try to find out about ergonomics and how to sit at the keyboard properly, and don't sit for too long a time. If your leg gets numb and wakes you up at night, it could be a case of siatica.
Isn't life full of ups AND downs?
Peace.
