Somehow the discussion came around to....."If you could be 19 again...."
(I think it was because Jen turned 19 yesterday)
Anyway, I wasn't interested in being 19 again. It was a traumatic age for me. But Joey had it all figured out. He told me everything he would do different, what he would say, to whom, where and why. He talked about specific people, situations and how it would be "better" the second time around. He also let me know where he would be in life today, after all these (flash-back in time)changes took place.
WOW, this "imaginary TODAY" Joey really kicks ass!
To me, it seemed as though Joey had given this "out of the blue" conversation a lot of thought.
Anyway....
I couldn't think of anything I would change. Although today I know, by age 19, the damage had already been done, and I was "doomed*". Still....I couldn't think of anything I would do different. (*I don't believe that "doomed shit, I just threw that in for effect!")
I think I have done alright, although, I might suggest that I pay better attention.
Then and Now.
I've missed myself! I'm thinking of getting hair extensions and coming back large and in charge......I'm starting to hate my new doo......no wait, too late, I already do!
Ah shit, it's just hair! Maybe a stylist will come to my aid, chop my hair beautiful and lift my fat gut too.
Maybe diamonds will fall from the sky and I'll be granted 1000 do-overs too.!
Maybe I'll exercise!
Or maybe..... in 20 years I will come back, read this entry and have evidence of exactly where I fucked up and do it all over!
Tell me now, before it goes to far....

Ah, have you fucked up? You did the best with the skills you were taught. How's that for an answer? Actually, I'm reading this self help book called The Half Empty Heart, which is about people with chronic discontent. For those of us, who may have had traumatic childhoods, unloved, abused, emotionally detached parents etc etc. It's an interesting read.
Hey, i seen your name on the user name "syn"s site, i was wondering if you knew her personally or her e-mail. the reason i ask is because she has this user name that i like. i use that for everything, and since she doesnt use her site, i wanted to see if she would "donate" it to me.
