Tornadoes twisted havoc through my neck of the woods last night. My house is fine, my in-laws house however....not so fine. The roof is sitting cockeyed on the house and the hay barn and silo were wiped out, not to mention about 25 trees that were just shredded. Their neighbors have it even worse, especially one neighbor who was building a new house for half a million dollars. They were going to move into their new house next week, but tonight it is nothing but a pile of burnt rubble. I'm pretty sure my in-laws house will be burnt to the ground too, there is just too much damage to try and fix such an old house.
I'm exhausted from cleaning rubble all day. Tomorrow I will take the camera along and upload some pics. I really haven't time for all of this, I have a fair scheduled next week and so many million things to do, but I'm going to count my blessings and muddle through.
It's been an awfully shitful year in this neck of the woods. Take time to count your blessings and please.....instead of driving by disaster areas and taking pics why not git yer ass out the car and offer to help?!!!!!
