• There is a new kitty in Da' House and I didn't order her!

  
  

  

  
  

  Saturday night I'm sitting at the dining room table talking 'bout this and that when....in walks a strange, little kitty through the pet door.  At first glance I thought it was Mosquito....but Mosquito is much larger so I had to do a triple take.  No....this was a brand new kitty and I don't know where she came from.  Who sent you little kitty?  From where did you come?  Why did you come to find me?  How come you look almost exactly like Mosquito?  I hope you don't grow up to be like Mosquito, he's mean, growly and ready to pounce.

  Jeez, I don't need another cat!  But she is so loveable and huggable and she purrs, purrs, purrs.  She snuggles right up on you and stays there until you get up, no matter how late in the day.  I'm getting too attached now to even think of giving her up.  It's obvious she was taken care of because she is super friendly and quite chubby.

  
  

  Did someone dump her off?  Yes, it's sad but true....peeps dump kitties off in the country because they are too fucking irresponsible to spay and neuter their pets.  Franny tells me he used to drown the excess kitties and other peeps have told me they do the same.  Common practice I guess but some peeps maybe haven't the heart to kill so they just dump them on the side of the road and feel good about themselves.  Mosquito is just such a kitty....Mombo found him on the side of the road on a PUP adventure many years back.

  
  

  So now I am stuck with the chore of trying to find an appropriate name for her.  I have narrowed it down to a few.....

  
  

  Doink (because that is my neighbor's nickname and he called a few weeks ago asking if I wanted a kitten so...he is suspect)
  Pudgekins (because she is chubby and cute)
  Pennymanyspots (inspired by a T.S. Eliot poem, "The Old Gumbie Cat")
  Babar (because she has big ears for a kitty)
  Ganesh ( " " )
  Charmin (because she is squeazably soft)
  Gebo (because this is the name of a Rune which means Gift from GOD)

  
  

  

  
  

  Any suggestions?  Or better yet....does someone out there want a brand new, squeezably snuggly kitten at NO Charge to you?
