I just returned from a Deluxe Pup Adventure. Our pond has frozen over, not strong enough for my weight, but the pups decided to risk it. Frito was all over that pond, but once Ruby walked out the ice, it started making that creaking, cracking noise and she quickly returned to shore.  I am looking forward to having the ice strong enough for my weight, then we will have some Ice Capades up in here.

I like this time of year for walkees, it makes the inaccessible areas of our property accessible without having to be knee deep in muck. The pups are all tuckered out now, its hard work for them and me to lumber through all that tall grass. However, no matter how tall and thick the grass is, the pups always find me, but I am steady hiding. Some day I will reign as the hide-and-seek QUEEN.

I have no idea WTF this Xanga is about anymore!!! I used to have a few clues back in the day...back in the day.

Anyway....here is a pic of my current PUP situation. Zorugo the kitty is included as a PUP because he acts a lot like a pup. We were all bundled up this night to watch the Blood Moon.

The time has come for me to admit it.  I SUCK!  I am not worthy of pet ownership.  I SUCK!

I lost my Dude on Saturday. 

Gone. 

Poof.

I always let him run in the garden as I harvest my crops.  I keep my eye on him as I do my thing.  Only a few minutes passed and he was gone.  GONE!  We searched high and low, even called out his name.  Funny thing, lizards never seem to respond to calls but we did it anyway.  Still do.

Shit.

I loved that little guy.  He was loved by many.  He was so aloofly loveable.

I SUCK!

I don't understand why he would want to leave.  He had a good life, lots of attention, and all the insects he could eat.  I bought him comfortable new housing and ensured he had everything a lizard could need.  I even promised him a wife in the not too distant future.

I still search for him and sleep restlessly hoping for his return.  Winter is here soon and that just means doom for him, that is, if some other animal hasn't got there first and made some lizard skin boots out of him.

That's it.  I just suck and feel sick about my Dude.
